I feel like the archon did not mean to do anything bad. The trailer “ light in the abyss” we can see that the people of khaenriah were running away from the storm of monster and that the archons were called to stop the monsters, but we can also see that some people of khaenriah also got turn into monsters, I feel like the people of khaenriah might have unleash something really really bad and that the archons were there to stop it which end with some archons kissing their life( Makoto, the first Electro Archon)

They need to bring Godwyn the Golden back.

I think for all the wisdom everyone says Miquella has, he ended up being the most immature of his siblings who grew through hardship and battle. He calls slavery compassion and thinks true peace comes if everyone is under his control, like a pampered rich kid that thinks his money entitles him to everyone and everything. But yes, the lack of effort to make an Age of Blood and Age of Compassion as possible endings where you can choose to side with Mohg and Miquella is a real missed opportunity.

I think Miquella is the most sane of them all, the most proactive and the one who managed to checkmate the entire lore, until a "random guy/gal" shows up and does 800 dodge rolls. What he is , is evil. The guy is so evil he straight up abandoned Malenia as she rots waiting for his return. He was going to enforce an age of Peace through Radahn's Power for War.

Isn't it crazy to have the choice to have an age of chaos but never age of compassion, it's diabolical.

Miquella is one of the most unjustifiably hated characters in the elden universe and it's really crazy that people think he can mind control or force his will on someone, all the lore have ever suggested that it's hard not to love him and he knew that and used it in mostly good faith, he was never evil but yet just another flawed character, trying to fix the twisted landa between.

Do you think Ranni may have been 'removed' from Godwyn's back? something about this is funny I've notice this lately even with the DLC, also there are two moons and the Scadu tree is a broken pillar. Godwyn was the first consort. The Haligtree tree was his first attempt with Godwyn as his Chad. That’s why there are statues of him. I think Ranni targeted him for this very reason. Mohg was the back-up plan with Rahdahn as his back-up Chad. I mean, he had an elevator that went directly to his egg chamber. It was made and used for the purpose for mohg to pick him up. Mohg was used from the start.

Radahn actively trying not to die for all those years is the biggest argument that he turned Miquella down. Otherwise he would have kist succumbed to the rot and injuries and be with Miquella. Radahn is really the true hero of Elden Ring

Godwyn had to be born before her ascension I think, that's why he's the only normal kid she had with Godfrey or Radagon. Then Mogh/Morgott soon after, especially with how emotional Godfrey seems holding his dead son, just feels like he'd known Morgott the longest other than Godwyn. We know for sure that Messmer was older than the Carians and twin prodigies, so he must have been the third birth along with Melina.

I don't know why there is such an insistance in making Marika clueless and naive about jarring. What is the point? Why would she care and be so nostalgic about her home village? Why would she not know she was taken from there? I think there's plenty of evidence via that one ghost that the hornsent 100% believed Shamans should go in jars and nothing else. They would have terrorized Marika's people, she would see it, and they would treat her differently due to her eyes/her special status. Marika, IMO, works best as a very long term plotter. IMO it makes way more sense that she decides to betray the Hornsent from day 1. She's the top long con person in the game. Why would she follow the fingers and not the crucible, if she's naive? No. I think it makes way more sense that she went and seeked out allies to rebel. I think she becomes a god and betrays the hornsent at the same time, at the gate of divinity, by starting her tree and grafting it on top of the crucible. We know from the sap talismans and other places that for a while the tree was perfect, the bounty flowed, and all were immortal. I am partial to thinking that the Greater Will sent a non-broken envoy later on (the Elden Beast) and that it's when the erdtree stopped its age of bounty and became instead a religious image. It's IMO also when Radagon appears. He represents the law of regression, and the changes brought to the Elden Ring by the Elden Beast's arrival. Marika would then have to pluck the rune of death. It coincides well with the time where she slowed down with her conquest fever and began to read uo on the power she was championing. (I think she suddenly found herself on a leash and not liking it at all).

I 100% believe that Marika was the succesful Saint created by the Hornsent people. The fact that all of the other ''failed'' jars in the gaols also look exactly like Marika is a big hint too. If Marika is a Saint as a result of mixing multiple beings in to one. That would explain how she could create another being from her, aswell as creating children by herself.

I absolutely think you're right. However, I think I can go a step further and say WHY the Hornsent wanted to make a god: The Talisman of All Crucibles is said to have grown on a Giant. It's found in the Rauh Ruins, which has very similar architecture to the Giants' Forge (and other ancient ruins throughout the lands). The Roar Medallion tells us the Giants could whip up natural disasters like storms, which the Hornsent associated with divinity. And the Furnace Visage reveals that Messmer's Furnace Golems were made in the image of the Fell God of Flame, an enemy of the Hornsent. I think the Hornsent saw that the Giants, blessed by their Fell God, were the favoured divine people and grew jealous. So they made their own god to usurp the Fell God. We know from Melina's dialogue at the First (I think) Church of Marika that the War of the Giants was the first major thing Marika did, establishing the Golden Order soon after. We also know that, before the Golden Order, the Elden Ring was controlled by Placidusax's god, which I think might be the Fell God (the Giants' Forge brings us to Placidusax's domain, and there are no other non-outer gods named in the lore). If this theory is true, then the Furnace Golems are a grim reminder of every trauma the Hornsent put her through: a forced fusion of all manner of life, bearing the face of the god they made her to kill.

Marika is a synthetic god. The Nox are trying to create a synthetic Lord of Night. Metyr and the Two Fingers falsely claim to be working for the Greater Will, which may or may not exist and if they do exist they don't care about the Lands Between now, if they ever did. Honestly, you're better off being an atheist in the Lands Between.

The bodies at the divine gate and Enir-Illim are not all horsent. The structure and iconography shows 3 stages of group/people/tribe that controlled it, and the hornsent are just the latest group that takes control of it, kinda like how the Nox are in control of eternal cities that are older than them and not built by them. You can see in the arena where you fight Radahn, where all the hornsent bodies crumbles when you touch it, but the rest of the bodies that makes up the ground are just a part of the arena and does not crumble, showing that they are much older than the hornsent. The iconography of the city, on the walls and the gates, shows that hornsent are merely the latest group that are in charge of the divine gate, and there are much older civilizations that have built the cities and used the divine gate there. Hornsent bodies are merely the latest layer of bodies laid on top of everything that came before.

Super huge missed opportunity that Fromsoft didn’t do something new and let the dlc be more entwined with the main game. We could have had an Age of Compassion ending, and new dialogue with Sir Gideon, at the very least. They could even had had another ending but with Messmer’s flame or something. But no, they decided to do what they always do, because “they always make dlcs their own thing”. Bah. Such a waste. Great game but that’s why it hurts that the dlc ending was lame.

The fact that he called malenia as "loyal blade" instead of something like "dear sister" in the end she probably is just another tool for him And the scary example is radahn, when we fight him in caelid, hes grunting everytime he swing those swords, but in the DLC hes so quiet its kinda weird or unsettling, even his expression is so flat compared to his caelid version, its like he can see what happen but cant scream, move on his own or disobey miquella, hes literally a puppet and everyone will be like him if we dont defeat miquella

The fall of someone losing themselves, shedding doubt, heart, love and their other half.. for the power to make the world a better place but in doing so they became a monster. They tried saving godwyn. tried curing malenia's rot(only stalled), making a tree better than the erdtree(was a good homeless shelter)... The plot actually reminds me of somebody but everyone likes him for some reason the boss that gets stronger when you play as them. Dude grew a blood tree too but it wasn't his own blood unlike miquella. Everyone just forgets the absurd amount of murders when it comes to the playable boss and they put them on a plastic chair but everyone hates miquella idfk why people are like this.

turns out she isnt small at all. And "he" prolly isnt accurate either. Referred to by all as he. But in everything we see, mannerism, speech, stature, height, everything says he is a she.

Mohg didn't just want Miquella to be a god, he wanted the Mohgwyn Dynasty which Miquella had no intention of ushering in.

It could be as simple as the charming of Mohg happened after the kidnap.

Miquella's kidnapping was DEFINITELY part of the plan, more of as a way to punish Malenia, because not only did she not kill Radahn, but how DARE she taint Miquella's future consort with the Scarlet Rot. So Miquella had Mohg kidnap him from the Haligtree BEFORE Malenia returned from her battle with Radahn. As her life had been dedicated to serving Miquella, and with no leads on his whereabouts, his sudden disappearance drove her crazy. This explains why she attacks us when we enter her arena despite having done NOTHING to her

The whole reason to choose Rhadan is ridicilous and came out of nowhere. Also Miquella's objective was to cure Malenia and give Godwyn a propar death. Both were ignored in the DLC...

Feel like calling them “miquella the insane” is a very odd take on the characters history, prior and current motivations, the themes of them losing their skin and “love” and the role st. trina plays. Im excited for Vaati and smoughtown to really dig into the character better and further than this as i think theres much much more to decipher than a 13 minute video with such a problematic title

what i think...i think miquella is a female. first, the whole consort and ascension thing requires male and female. Similar to radagon and marika. So if radahn is male...then it follows automatically that miquella is? Secondly, we can clearly see with our eyes that she is very feminine a like. Unlike all the descriptions about "him". But the descriptions also said he is forever cursed to be child. Does she look small? She is as tall a malenia! If the descriptions got this wrong, couldnt it also follow that they got her gender wrong? In fact, when speaking to gideon all knowing, he admits miquella is shrouded in mystery and that he knows nothing about miquella. What? despite her being 1000 year old? Something seems off doesnt it. Unless. Unless this is actually part of her magic, she bewitches people into thinking what she is not, so she can travel freely in the lands and do whatever. making unalloyed needles, haligtree etc. I mean look she clearly looks female and not male. Everything from voice to 3d model to mannerism. Also st trina is female. And st trina is miquella. Theres also theories about melina being miquella. And melina is also female.

And with all of this... we STILL dont really know why Marika shattered the ring, and where the elden beast comes in. Her master plan, us following her guidance. Its a giant mystery still....

I dont understand trusting Ansbach at his word. He is part of a cult you know to be untrustworthy. Hes just polite and open to disscussion. It really proves people will believe anything if the person is polite enough.
